Our Company and Philosophy

Caruso Thompson, LLP is a New Jersey Certified Public Accounting firm that first commenced operations as Caruso & Co in 1977 and established by our founding partner Robert Caruso.  Mr. Caruso alongside Michael Thompson rebranded as Caruso Thompson, LLP in 1996. Mr. Caruso has now since retired and Partner, Eric Harrity, alongside our Managing Partner, Michael Thompson, continue to deliver with an excellent standard of client services.

We maintain two offices. The main office is located in Warren, New Jersey and the second in Nutley, New Jersey.  We have a staff of eighteen and over 4,000 square feet of office space. Our staff includes six Certified Public Accountants, all with varying degrees of experience that enable us to adequately serve the various needs of our clients. Our client mix is such that we have experience in many areas. We have an extensive computer network system, which enables us to not only supply our clients with various accounting and tax functions, but also enables us to supply special services to thier operation, should the need present itself.

We believe that the role of an accounting firm is much more than preparing financial statements and tax returns.  Our greatest asset is our people.  You will look upon us as your business consultants and be confident in our ability to satisfy your changing needs.  We will personally be involved in all aspects of your engagment with us.
